How O'Lanka's White Velvet cream began:

About 18 years ago I had a craft business. Every Wednesday evening I would hold a craft class and during these classes we used very hot glue guns. During every class someone would burn themselves on the gun, very painful.

We had nothing to take care of the burns, so one evening after class when I got home I was praying and asking God to give me knowledge to come up with something to help the situation. The next morning when I got up I was given a recipe, I know this sounds incredible but it is true.

I proceeded to try and find the products to make this burn ointment, but living in Bullhead City, Arizona it was rather difficult (no computers at the time) and so I went to every Health Food Store in Bullhead and Las Vegas until I found what I needed, because I knew this should be an all natural product.

I mixed all the ingredients together and took it to the store, and when someone got burnt we tried it out and it seemed like a miracle it stopped the burns completely. Which made all of us very happy that it worked and we used it just for that purpose for a few years.

I continued to study about all natural creams and learned about the various ingredients that were in other hand creams on the market, so I decided to expand and make a cream that would be a great moisturizing cream.

I worked on this recipe for several years. At first I looked up the recipes I found and made some of them, but I was not very happy with them. These recipes were made up of 70% water, which felt good when applied, but did very little for your skin.  In fact, I also noticed that most products had alcohol, which along with water can dry your skin.

About a year ago I got really serious and started to experiment with products that I knew were natural and would put moisture into your skin. I needed to use a large portion of the products that would penetrate your skin and not just sit on top of the skin, and using very little water but also I did not want the cream to be greasy. I tried over and over until I finally succeeded and now we have this wonderful cream that moisturizes, is not greasy, and does not wash off.

The most miraculous thing of all is that it still is great on burns. For a burn put a little White Velvet cream on the burn and reapply after about 15 minutes and the pain will go away, and you will not believe that you had a burn. I give God the glory for this knowledge because I know that I would not have been able to do this on my own,
